Heartopia offers seamless cross-platform multiplayer across all available platforms:

Whether you're playing on your phone, tablet, or computer, you can join the same servers and play together with friends on any platform.
Server Regions - Important!
While cross-platform play is fully supported, there's one important limitation to know about:
Server Region Matters
Players must be on the same regional server to play together. If you're on the Europe server and your friend is on the America server, you cannot play together.

Choose Wisely
When you first start the game, coordinate with your friends to pick the same server region. You cannot transfer your character between regions later!
Cross-Save Support
Heartopia also supports cross-save, meaning your progress syncs across all your devices:
- Play on your phone during commute, then continue on PC at home
- Progress, items, and currency are all synced
- Requires binding your account to email or Google
- Steam version will sync with mobile when it releases
How to Enable Cross-Save
- Open Settings in your Watch menu
- Go to Account settings
- Bind your account to an email or Google account
- Log in with the same account on your other devices
How to Add Friends
To play with friends across platforms, you need to add them using their UID:
Find Your UID
Go to Settings in your Watch menu. Your UID is displayed there.
Share UIDs with Friends
Exchange UIDs with your friends outside the game (Discord, text, etc.)
Open Friendship Journal
Access your Friendship Journal from the Watch menu.
Search and Add
Search for your friend's UID and send a friend request. Costs 1 Star.
Good to Know
Sending a friend request costs 1 Star, but accepting a request is free. Stars are easy to earn from daily activities!
Multiplayer Features
Once you've added friends, here's what you can do together:
- Parties: Unlocks at Level 5. Form a party of up to 4 players to stay together in the same instance
- Visit Homes: Tour each other's decorated houses
- Help with Gardening: Water your friend's crops
- Co-op Hobbies: Fish, catch bugs, or birdwatch in the same area
- Town Instances: Each login places you in a town with up to 11 other random players
TapTap PC Client Installation
- Visit the Heartopia download page and choose the PC option.
- Install the TapTap desktop client and log in.
- Search for Heartopia in TapTap and click Install.
- Launch the game from your TapTap library.
Tip
Use the same account on PC and mobile to keep your progress synced.
